BOOKING & PAYMENT
How long in advance should I make my booking request?
We usually have a waiting list of 1 to 2 weeks before your preferred event date at Orbis Sports. For instance, if your party is scheduled for May 18th, odds are it will be fully booked around May 4th.
Because of the excellent quality experience our planners deliver, our events are in high demand. We suggest that you schedule your event as soon as you know the date and time of your occasion.
What is your booking process?
Contact us at (250) 681-1379 or send us an email with the specifics of your rental and any inquiries you might also have.
We will get back to you as soon as possible to ensure our availability and respond to questions you may have. Once you're finished, we'll email you an invoice that you can pay online.
All major credit cards are accepted.
Is there a deposit to reserve?
Yes, a refundable $100 deposit is required at the time of booking. The remainder of your payment is required at least two weeks prior to your rental. If you reserve within two weeks of your desired date, full payment is necessary. You can also pay in full at the time of booking.
How do I pay for my rental?
Through our safe and secure online payment system, we take all major credit cards. Checks and cash are also acceptable.
Where can I play Human Hamster Balls?
Orbis Sports offers Laser Tag rentals in British Columbia, Alberta and Canada Wide (limited).
GAMEPLAY & RULES
What is the age limit?
Our bubbles come in three sizes and may be used by children and adults of all ages. To participate, all participants must be at least 5 years old and weigh less than 275 pounds.
How many Archery Tag bows should I rent?
Because Human Hamster Balls are exhausting and we allow an infinite number of participants, we typically suggest renting fewer bubbles than the total number of guests and having people take turns. 4 bubble, for example, can comfortably amuse 20+ people each hour. It just takes a few seconds to change into and out of a suit, thus switching out players is simple.
We've worked with groups of up to 250 people. Given current public health concerns for events in the summer and fall of 2021, we propose that each participant be allocated their own bubble for the duration of the rental, with no equipment turnover.
Are these Hamster Balls safe?
Absolutely! Between you and everything else is a gentle cushion of air. You don't feel a thing.
Can I play in the snow or rain?
We can't use Hamster Balls if it's raining or snowing. Fortunately, we have a no-cost rescheduling policy in the case of inclement weather or other situations that prevent us from conducting the rental or are beyond our control. If room is available, we may also transfer your event indoors.
